Speed monitoring

Waddesdon Neighbourhood Police team have conducted speed monitoring in Haddenham this morning with the following results: 

Stanbridge Road - 30 minutes 

31 vehicles travelling between 31 and 46mph. 

Pegasus Way - 15 minutes 

15 vehicles travelling between 31 and 46mph. 

Both of these zones are 30mph. 

A member of the Parish Council was also in attendance. The neighbourhood team are aware of the speeding issues constantly along these roads. We feel traffic calming measures are the only way to tackle this and make a real difference to speeding in these areas. We will be recommending the Parish Council speak with Bucks County council to see if this is possible. 

In the meantime, we will continue to conduct speed monitoring/enforcement as often as we can.
